What interested you about being an engineer?

When I was young, I always enjoyed creating/building with LEGO’s and as I grew those LEGO’s turned into wood. I have made items such as a filing cabinet, a kitchen table, and stools. Engineering was the choice rather than Architecture because I have always been intrigued by the science behind engineering.

What is your favorite part of being an engineer?

Being able to see the capabilities of the construction products we use. Taking those materials and forging them into something creative and real.

What have you enjoyed most since you've begun working at LJA?

Being able to apply what I have learned in my coursework to a higher degree and having exposure to different types of engineering material that I was unable to study through school.
